Who We Are

Will Salt Coaching provides organisational and individual coaching in the UK. Will Salt is the data controller for the personal information described in this notice.

Information We Collect

• Enquiries: your name, email, organisation and message when you use the enquiry form.
• Guide requests: your first name, email and organisation when you request a guide.
• Journal questions: the question you submit and, if you choose to give it, a reply email.
• Account details: your name and email when you are invited to the coaching platform.
• Coaching records: session bookings, assessments, short session reflections, actions and notes created during your coaching.

How We Use It

• To reply to enquiries and arrange an initial conversation.
• To set up and run your coaching programme, including scheduling sessions.
• To send reminders connected to your coaching, such as reflection prompts.
• To produce anonymised programme reporting for sponsoring organisations.
• To keep public forms secure and understand how the website is used.

Confidentiality and Employer Reporting

Coaching conversations, coach notes and your individual reflections are private to you and Will. They are never shared with your employer.

Organisations only receive combined results across a programme, and only once at least three participants have contributed, so no individual can be identified. Named updates are shared only on the Sponsored Development pathway, and only where you have expressly agreed the outcomes to be reported.

Lawful Basis

We rely on the steps needed to provide the coaching you or your organisation have agreed to (contract), on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and keeping the website secure, and on your consent where we ask for it, such as website analytics.

Who We Share It With

We do not sell your information. We use a small number of trusted providers to run the service: our platform hosting provider, Google Calendar for session scheduling, Google Analytics for website usage, and Cloudflare Turnstile to protect forms from spam. Each processes information only to provide its service.

How Long We Keep It

Enquiries and guide requests are kept for up to two years unless they lead to coaching. Coaching records are kept for the length of your programme and for a reasonable period afterwards so that you can review your progress, after which they are deleted or anonymised.

Your Rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete your information, object to or restrict its use, or receive a copy of it. Platform users can request account deletion from their Settings page. For any other request, email will@willsaltcoaching.com.

If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
